Pregnancy update

So yesterday I had an ultrasound and a doctors appointment. My ultrasound was at 9:30am and since the road is closed to Logan from Tremonton, I had to take this nice little dirt road all the way there. Since you can only go 30 MPH on the road, I'm sure I saved on gas and believe it or not, it took about the same amount of time as the road that is closed, so it wasn't to bad. It is totally dirt and only one lane so you do have to be on your toes for other cars coming and dips and curves but other than that it wasn't to bad. I however will not drive it in the dark! So anyway, back to my appointment......the ultrasound tech said that my little bundle of joy is at least 9 pounds right now! She said she can be off a pound or so but she feel she is right on with this little guy! I also have more than normal amounts of fluid which would explain by rather large belly and being totally uncomfortable. Oh yeah and he's breach! So it's a dang good thing I have c-sections. That would be quite the bummer to have my 3rd and final baby be a c-section. But it's an old hat for me so no biggie. My only concern is the extra fluid I have. My doctor didn't seem concerned but of course I've looked it up on the WWW and am already a worry wort so that didn't help much at all. They also did a non-stress test on my baby. His movements have slowed down a lot. My doctor said it could be that he's moving a lot but the extra water makes it hard for me to feel. So I was hooked up to monitors for an hour and while doing that I had some pretty good contractions. So my doctor asked me to come back in two hours and he wanted to check me again and he would also be talking to a doctor above him and go over my case and see if he thought we should have this baby sooner. I was all up for sooner!!! Needless to say, he checked me two hours later and talked to the other doctor and said we better wait. I'm fine with that. I want my baby's lungs to be ready. So I'm glad my doctor is being careful. So I have one more doctor appointment on Tuesday the 24th and then a week later I'll have my baby! Wahoo! It's getting so close I can taste it. I'm mentally and physically ready but my house and NOT in any kind of order! I am having a family birthday party for Carter this Sunday the 22nd and so I will be cleaning like crazy this weekend!! Maybe that will put me into labor! Then Bryan's parents will be here on the 25th to be here for the birth. So I've got some work to do! Bryan has been a huge help and I'm sure he'll continue doing as much as he can when he's not at work. So there ya have it! Now you are up to date!
