While the kids were out trick-or-treating with Bryan, I sat home with Seth and gave out candy! We usually have a trunk-or-treat but not this year. It was decided that we would do it the old fashion way as long as the weather was nice. And it was!!!
Here is Carter, Mason, Kolton and Chelsey (our best friends across the street) all ready to go up to main street with Bryan and trick-or-treat the businesses. Living in a small town is fun for this kind of stuff.
I think Carter is thinking, come on Mom, Seriously"!
All in all is was a fun night. Thanks to a wonderful Dad who took his boys out for some fun. I have mixed feelings on trunk-or-treat or the old fashion way of things. I guess I'm lazy and like going to the church and in 30 minutes I have given away all my candy to the kids I know and love. With Trick-or-treating you don't get as many people coming around and most of them are people I don't even know and don't even live in my neighborhood. So I think the kids had fun going around but honestly I think they have just as much fun the other way around. Plus, I don't have to sit and sit and sit waiting for a kid to knock on my door. It was way fun to see the cute kids in my neighborhood but I think I could have gone around to all of their houses and given them candy and been home relaxing on the couch in less time! I might try that next year if the trunk-or-treat gets vito'd again!!! I'm just sayin........

Cute costumes! Sounds like they had lots of fun! Tyler, my parents and I took our kids out trick-or-treating. We just left a bowl out on the porch for people who came by. I'd actually rather go out and trick-or-treat, rather than do the trunk-or-treat. I think it's more fun going house to house...guess you have to really work for your candy that way!
i think the trunk or treat is fun with littler kids.. jaxon just doesn't have the attention span to go around from house to house... he barely made it thru the trunk or treat. haha
