That's Right, Go After the Mormons...
I find it interesting that the only no on Prop 8 protests have been directed at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There were many other religious groups involved in the support of Prop 8, and other groups voted for it (70% of African Americans, 50% of Hispanics) but same-sex marriage advocates are going after the Mormons. www.latimes.com

However, you're not making yourselves any more popular by attacking such an easy target. (And, by the way, taking away our tax exempt status just takes money, food, clothing, and shelter out of the hands of millions of the poor and needy. That's not going to improve your image either.) www.lds.org

I went to a dinner party the other night and a guy there was telling me he is so impressed with the mormons standing up for right that he is thinking about becoming mormon, seriously. I was proud to be mormon.
