Worky work!!!

Well I wanted to blog an update of my new job. I just finished my first week of training. Training is actually 10 weeks long. It's kinda funny.....I've worked on the phones in customer service and sales every since I was 17. So this is not my first call center gig. I have a really fun class with a verity of people. It makes it fun but at the same time it can be very frustrating. I think some of the people in the class might not have a clue about computers! I understand it takes time to learn a new program but we have not even started that phase yet. We are basically learning how the company works and so on and so forth. My trainer will be talking about attendance and a million and a half questions will come up about specific situations. So frustrating! Just know the attendance policy and if a situation comes up in the future then ask! So a simple 15-30 minute chat about how the attendance policy works will take one or two hours in my class!!! I'm not a very patient person but I'm trying. So anyway....next week we are going to be learning how to sale some of the products Qwest offers. Wahoo! We are finally getting to actually learn about the job and how to do it! My trainer explained that it's going to be like robbing a bank... We are going to go in, then we are going to go out and nobody gets hurt! Hilarious!!! Basically he's saying we are going to learn about the products and how to sale them and that's it! If you don't get it, it will click at some point but we don't have all day to go over one item!!! It's pretty hilarious! Anyway, so far so good. It will be an amazing job with amazing benefits. Seriously I can't believe how great the benefits are! I work Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm. So it's almost 7pm by the time I get home. The drive is an easy one but after work I just want to get home. So we are thinking about moving to Logan. We'll see......

Congrats on the new job!!!! Moving to Logan sounds fun. Trav wants us to move to Heber. He works up there and the drive is getting to him. So we are going to put our house up for sale and see what happens.(so if you know anyone who is looking for a house in Santaquin send them our way)
