Not AGAIN!!! So for some odd reason Seth gets lots of ear infections. It's about every 2 months or so. Sometimes just as one clears up he'll get another one. Carter and Mason never had this problem. I don't do anything different with him than I did with my other two. So I took him to the ER today. I did not want to drive 30 minutes to Logan to insta-care and wait forever. Yep he had another ear infection and they gave up more antibiotics. We got a referral to an ear nose and throat doctor in Logan. We need to get him an apointment. He's to young for tubs still but we'll see what that doctors says. Any of you other Moms ever had a baby with lots of ear infections? Got any tips???

Sorry not me. Thankfully my kids don’t and never have gotten ear infections, however if you ever have a baby with colic, now that I can help with! (If on top of that, they also had ear infections, I would be writing this from a padded room somewhere) But good luck, poor little guy. Have you tried a blessing?
Trey had a lot of ear infections. He is also my kid with asthma and eczema poor boy! anyway, He never had to get tubes but he was on antibiotics a lot. I am sorry! that stinks!
Oh poor baby. Those are not fun! Annebel constantly had ear infections as a baby and small toddler. Anytime she was working on getting a tooth I could count on an ear infection. It got to the point where I would see the swollen gums and just make an appointment at the Peds to get her prescription for antibiotics. She did end up getting tubes and it made a world of difference. It totally had been affecting her hearing and delayed her speech quite a bit. Yeah, mother of the year here! I think it's great that they referred you to an ENT because they're the experts and will know just what your little guy needs. Good luck!

Oh, that's not fun! My kids don't get too many ear infections, but when they do, it's always antibiotics that clear it up! Hope he gets better soon!
My girls were like that. Brin had tubes. They were a dream. She stopped talking sooo loud. She was barley walking when she got them. Baths are the worst. Try to rinse his head under the tap and dont let his ears gewt in the tub water. the doc said that is the best place to get infection. Bridgette's ear problems just went away when she turned 3.
No words of wisdom for the ear infection but I hope everything works out. I know I hate having those infections, I'm sure it's just as bad if not worse for your little one. I hope he gets better soon.
I don't think he is too young for tubes. Weston got his first set before he was one. I am a HUGE fan of tubes Weston and Katelynn both had them TWICE. They will make a huge difference! And the sooner you get them the better because both of them were having som hearing problems before tubes! Good luck!
Logan also had multiple ear infections when he was little, actually it was probably all one infection that never went away. He ended up with his first set of tubes when he was 5 months old. He has since had 3 more sets, but now that he's 8 I think has finally outgrown them??? (crossing fingers) I think our ear-nose-throat specialists name was David Hill... we LOVED him. And he does his surgeries at Primary Childrens.
Allison! Both of our kids had chronic ear infections! Conner had to have TWO sets of tubes actually. They are the BEST thing though! As soon as they got them, life was sooooo great. Conner even started crawling within days of getting his first set. He was only like 9 months old, but was not crawling. I guess the tubes helped him figure things out with balance etc. too. Plus, the procedure (surgery) is sooooo quick. I have had doctor appointments last longer than the actual surgeries for the boys' tubes. I hope this doctor lets you do it. How old is Seth?
