Thanksgiving 2007

This year on Thanksgiving my family did such a fun thing...we did our own little version of The Amazing Race! My mom and dad put it all together, it took countless hours, we're all grateful their hard work-it was sooo awesome! The teams were:Bryan, Allison, Carter and Mason-took 2nd place...later found out we really took last due to not completing one of the tasks correctly! Bryce, Juleigh and Coey-took 1st place! Dave, Andrea, Sophia and Nick-took 3rd place. Brett and Tara- took 4th place. Doug and Amber-took last place...huge effort on their part, considering they had never been to Tremonton before! Way to go family! It was so much fun! We had to go to different places and complete different tasks to get our next clue. Man, I realized how out of shape I am! Whoa! It was fun to work together with my husband and actually see that we can work together! LOL After the Amazing Race I took my boys home for a nap and then we met back together around 4:00pm for dinner. It was yummy of course! My Mom has kind of put a damper on Thanksgiving food. We have Thanksgiving type dinners all the time! But it was still yummy and fun to get together. After we were all full we just hung out. My brother Bryce put together a Geo cache for us all to go do. That was fun to! Me and my partner Amber (my brother in laws, sister) found all of our clues to open the lock and get our prize but we could not find the dang box with the prizes! The next day I went and finally found it! We were so bummed. We would have been the winners! We were so fast until the very last thing. Dang it! Anyway it was so much fun and the best Thanksgiving ever!
