A new approach!!! Wish me luck!

So I finally decided I'm done yelling and stressing out when Carter doesn't do what he is supposed to do. So I decided to make a chart just for him! He love stickers and treats and so I think this might work! I made the chart for a week long (starting today). It has simple things for him to do on it. Some of the things are just natural things he'd do usually like share with Mason. Others are things we fight over the most. Like, eating his meals, crying for no reason, cleaning up toys and messes etc. So as I write this, he finished all of his breakfast without a fight! Wahoo! This might work! He also get a little gum ball after each task (if he remembers) LOL. I'm really excited about this! I think it will be good! He's been good so far! Yahoo! I'll keep you all posted!

Don't you love the things that we do to try to get our kids to do stuff. Too bad beating them with a stick doesn't work eh?;)

Thanks for the advice Allison! Night #3 went pretty good. Kate woke up at 3:30, cried for 15 minutes, then went back to sleep on her own until 7. Hopefully it will all end soon! Wish me luck!! Good luck with your chart, too!!

Be sure to laminate your chart. Otherwise you'll have to make a new one each week. Laminating let's you take the stickers back off without it lookin crappy! Good luck!
